BIOGRAPHY

TRZ is a Hip Hop and Neo Soul artist. His career started in Bristol where he worked with Kelz on The Souljah Clique’s seminal Hip Hop album ‘Unsigned Heroes'. TRZ has also worked and featured alongside a plethora of legendary artists including: Pee Wee Ellis (James Brown Band) Ghostface Killah (Wu-Tang) Mr Eon (High & Mighty) George Clinton, Estelle, MC Duke, Late (Wolftown) Blak Twang, DMC Champion Asian Hawk and many more. As an artist he has performed alongside some of the world’s most renowned entertainers supporting artists such as: Redman & Method Man (Def Jam) Raekwon (Wu-Tang) Jalal Nuriddin (The Last Poets) Rodney P (London Posse) Phi Life Cypher, MC D, Klashnekoff (Terra Firma) Freestylers, Ozomatli and numerous others.

During his career he has been featured on various radio and television broadcasts as well as appearing in a variety of print and online magazine publications for both his musical works and his community activities. Some of his most notable appearances include: Music performances on numerous BBC radio channels inc. BBC 1, BBC radio 4 and 1Xtra, Production for music documentary ‘Independent Hype’ directed by Oshin, Interview and live studio performance on Channel 4’s T4 ‘Chancers’, Production feature on Aardman Animation's educational documentary, News feature on BBC 1 ‘Politics Show’ alongside the Rev. Jesse Jackson, Live musical performance at the Glastonbury Festival 2008, St. Pauls Carnival and the Ashton Court Festival, Numerous interviews and features in Hip Hop Connections magazine, a 5 Star album review and full length feature in Venue magazine, Live studio interviews and appearances on many international radio stations and much more.

More recently TRZ released his debut solo album 'Mind Open' and is currently working on several new releases including a new studio album and an upcoming instrumental release. As well as continuing to work on his music, he is also heavily involved in the local community working as a trustee for the Plymouth and Devon Racial Equality Council.
